Laying the foundation for a child’s future begins with nurturing their emotional and mental well-being from a young age. I view each individual as in the process of becoming, with unconditional self-worth, no matter their condition. My approach centers on the unique potential within each individual. I support the youth in uncovering and nurturing that potential, reinforcing who they truly are, and encourage actions that reflect their strengths and aspirations.

Through building a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, acceptance, congruence and trust, individuals can move from rigidity to openness, allowing answers to emerge from within.

Parents Involvement Process:
Information shared during counseling sessions is considered private and will not be shared with parents, guardians, or others without the young person's consent. However, please note that confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group counseling settings.

While the sessions remain highly confidential, we also offer counseling for parents and caregivers, as well as providing them with tools to support their child.

Medical Treatment:
Clients currently receiving treatment from psychiatrist are recommended to consult with their current psychiatrist before beginning counseling.

Confidentiality:
For youth aged 12 and up, information shared during counseling sessions is considered private and will not be shared with parents, guardians, or others without the young person's consent. Please note that confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in group counseling settings.

There are a few important exceptions to this confidentiality:

  • If there is a risk of serious harm to the client or someone else

  • If there is suspected abuse or neglect

  • If information is required by law or court order

Cancellation Policy:

To cancel or reschedule your session, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day cancellations are subject to the full session fee. Thank you for your understanding.
